Investment Training Scams

Wouldn’t you like to make some extra income from investing? Many people, enticed by the possibility of making extra money (and maybe even quitting their day job), may feel that investing is a great way to help them make extra money on the side, but a lot of the time they don’t know where to start. Seeing investment training courses and coaches, they feel tempted to pay a few bucks to learn investing secrets and hopefully change their lives. However, many of these so-called “experts” with “proven” and “tested” strategies are actually scammers looking to make a quick buck. In this article, we will explore how this scam works and how to avoid it.

Many of these scammers attract people by putting ads somewhere. In these advertisements, they claim that they will teach you a “proven method” to make money from investing. They may even show statistics or testimonials. However, their “proven method” most of the time ends up being bogus, with their statistics and testimonials being made up, and then they may give either unhelpful advice or not give anything at all. People end up giving (and losing) a lot of money to these scams, so it’s important to be wary of them.

In order to avoid these scams, it’s important to be wary and aware of a few red flags. First of all, anyone claiming to have a “proven” or “tested” method that will guarantee you money is likely making things up. If something sounds too good to be true, then it probably is. Additionally, anyone claiming that you can quit your job after listening to them is most likely making things up. Don’t blindly believe statistics or testimonials that sound wildly positive. Look up and do research on businesses before giving your money to them. This is only a short list of many potential red flags you may find, but make sure to be skeptical and to thoroughly investigate claims.

Overall, investment training scams may sound like a great way to make quick money, but they end up falling short of their claims most of the time. Make sure to stay safe and do thorough research before investing in not only investment training or coaching, but also anything else.
